Everything you need to know about the world's most ridiculous adventure.

TukTuk Tournament action

I'm still confused, can you spell out what the hell this is?

Teams of 2-3 people drive tuktuks across a real country in an "amazing race" style adventure. You use the resources we give you (map, Quest Book, digital app) and the rules of the game to develop your own strategy and route. You'll complete missions and upload photos through our app to collect points. Along the way we throw three epic parties and bond with locals and international travelers from around the world. Learn how the game works.

Where will we go?

Wherever you want! Well, kind of. You'll be limited by the game format and daily kilometer limits. This isn't a race. But our map covers the entire country — there's nowhere you have to go and nowhere you can't.

Our team has mapped out the best and most unique experiences each country has to offer. Jungle restaurants, beaches, waterfalls, surf spots, temples, monasteries. Where you go is your choice — think strategically and curate the experience you want.

How safe is this?

Driving:

Everyone who drives needs a valid license from home plus an International Driving Permit. You'll get a proper driving lesson — most people master tuktuks within an hour. Top speed is 40km/h. Read more about tuktuk safety.

Traveling:

24/7 support team, medical kits in each vehicle, mechanics across the country, and comprehensive insurance. We've been running this for years without major incidents.

What are the rules?

Detailed rules arrive when you get to the country. But here's the gist: teams complete challenges using our app and Quest Book (like a big scavenger hunt). Post photos to your team Instagram with our hashtags to collect points. Every photo must include a teammate and your team idol. Teams must stay together.

There's a daily KM limit — this is not a race. The team with the most gems wins the Tri-Wheel Trophy.

Are there age limits?

No cap on age — you're never too old for adventure! Someone on the team must be at least 21 to rent a tuktuk, and the legal driving age is 18. Families are welcome. Parents/guardians assume full responsibility for anyone under 18.

Diverse ages participating

Do we have to do every challenge?

Absolutely not. We capture a wide range of activities so you can customize your experience. If you want to win, skipping too many will make it tough. But not everyone comes to win — make it whatever you want.

Local experiences

What if something happens on the road?

We support you 24/7. Mechanics across the country, staff who speak the local language. If your engine explodes we'll drive you a new tuktuk!

We cover maintenance costs for fair wear and tear. If a bad tuktuk costs you time, you get average team points for that day. Keep receipts and we reimburse at the end.

How much does it cost?

$1,000 per person for the full 13-day adventure. Reserve with a $500 non-refundable deposit per team. Remaining balance due in July of event year, plus a $150 refundable security deposit.

What if I don't have a team?

No worries! Our Facebook group helps solo travellers find teammates. You can also go fully independent. Either way, you'll make friends ridiculously fast.

What do the winners get?

Winners receive the coveted Tri-Wheel Trophy and eternal bragging rights. You'll basically be masters of the universe.

Where do we stay on nights that aren't included?

Wherever you'd like! Teams are on their own during active tournament days. The whole event is flexible — spontaneous adventuring is what makes this special.

What if I need to cancel?

Your deposit can be rolled over to a future tournament, and your spot is transferable to someone else. Full cancellation policy in our terms and conditions.

What is the charity component?

For each point your team collects, we donate money towards PALM Foundation's water filter program (palmfoundation.lk). Top teams donate more but ALL teams give back.

Your participation also creates positive impact through supporting local businesses, cultural exchange, and sustainable tourism. See the full impact story.
